State Level Final Music Competitions (Alwars Devotion)

Aug 26 2010: JIVA Campus, Sri Ramanagar, Samshabad, AP, India

State Level Final Music Competitions on the topic of Alwars Devotion were conducted in JIVA CAMPUS on 25th and 26th Aug 2010. A finalist from each district was selected for the superfinal competions and the programme went on from morning 9 AM to 3.PM at a stretch with a lot of competitive spirit in the devotional environment. The following are the results of the competitions:

LIGHT MUSIC III PRIZE JAHNAVI – WARANGAL SRIDHAR - ADILABAD

CONSOLATION PRIZE – PRUDHVI ( TWIN CITIES)

The competitions went on extremely well with the great participation of a number of students. All the VT members were present organizing the event in a nice manner. Students felt very happy for organizing such a wonderful event. Parents and supporters felt that such competitions make these children know the greatness of those devoted saints, who directly experienced God. Smt Krishna Kumari compered the whole programme nicely giving an excellent commentary of the ongoing event. At the end the winners were given prizes and certificates were given to all the participants. Everyone felt that they have learnt a lot from this very useful programme with regard to Alwars and greatness of devotion to God. HH Sri Ahobila Jeeyar Swamiji blessed the students for their great performance, and also the parents who are encouraging children for such good cause. All the participants including JUDGES jointly sang the prayer at the end and everybody’s heart was filled with JOY. All of them have enjoyed the Prasadam ( special Lunch ) with great devotion.

Finals of VT Music Competition in Folk Songs (Alwars Devotion)

Finals of the Music Competitions in Folk songs were conducted at JIVA Campus on 25th Aug 2010 from 9.AM onwards. The candidates in two groups, Juniors and Seniors who stood first from respective districts have come to JIVA for the final competitions and the Judges Smt.Prathima, Smt Saraswathi, Sri Haribabu gave a wonderful encouraging analysis to the students. Artists Sriman Dhananjay on Violin, Sriman Anand on Mrudangam accompanied the participants while Smt.Krishna Kumari co-ordinated music compering.

VT Twincities conducted Songs Competitions on 19th Aug 2010 in the context of ALWAR’S Bhakti Sudha Programme.

About 60 singers from various Groups of Twincities, who were selected as winners at Group level have enthusiastically participated. Below are some Photos. The competition is in 3 categories, Classical, Light and Folklore.

The Competition is for 2 Groups:

Young ones – upto 16 Yrs age

Elders – 17 to 30 Yrs age
